Do not adjust your set! Channel 4 is developing the Draw Something TV show for British screens

Hey, remember that time we told you CBS was turning OMGPOP's Pictionary-esque app Draw Something into a TV show? Like Win, Lose or Draw, only...

Well, like Win, Lose or Draw.

The thing is, CBS hasn't finished developing the show for American screens. Instead, the arty quiz will make its worldwide debut on UK television. And will be produced by none other than Channel 4.

Working with Sony's Victory Television production company, Channel 4 will air the team-based Draw Something quiz in the coveted 5pm tea-time slot. (Head-to-head with the Beeb's Pointless, eh? Good luck with that one, David Abraham.)

In the Draw Something TV show, one celebrity and one regular contestant will team up to test their artistic skills against another pair of doodlers, and to compete for gold coins.

Apparently, these non-celebrity contestants will have been selected to take part in the TV quiz on the basis of their Draw Something app, err, aptitude.

As we reported last year, Ryan Seacrest Productions and Embassy Row will also be involved in the show's development.

James pivoted to video so hard that he permanently damaged his spine, which now doubles as a Cronenbergian mic stand. If the pictures are moving, he's the one to blame.
