The air is warming up and pollen counts are soaring, which means only one thing: the 2013 Major League Baseball season is underway.

Following on the release of the front office baseball strategy simulator iOOTP Baseball 2013, GREE's MLB: Full Deck received a substantial update this week.

The big draw of the big update is the addition of new players and season-accurate 2013 rosters, but there's also a good tweak to the player-versus-player experience included in the patch as well.

Officially licensed by MLB.com, MLB: Full Deck allows players to build their own fantasy baseball team from 650 real Major League Baseball players.

Once the team is built, players can send them off to compete against the official 2013 rosters of the MLB's 30 teams. For those looking for a more personal challenge, MLB: Full Deck also allows players to compete against one another in PVP mode.

As one might expect from a GREE game, the focus of MLB: Full Deck is on collecting trading cards - an experience that baseball fans should be quite familiar with.

MLB: Full Deck is currently available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
