Recently crowned Pocket Gamer iOS Game of the Year The Walking Dead going cheap

Telltale Games has slashed the price of every episode in its Silver Award-winning The Walking Dead: The Game series for iPhone and iPad.

As always, you can download The Walking Dead: The Game from Apple's App Store and play through Episode 1 - A New Day completely free of charge.

If you then want to play more (which you will), you can download Episodes 2, 3, 4, and 5 of this post-apocalyptic point-and-click adventure through in-app purchases for £1.99 / $2.99 apiece.

You could, of course, always grab every episode in one fell swoop and save yourself a few pennies. This multi-pack bundle will set you back £6.99 / $9.99.

Why, oh, why?

The Walking Dead: The Game has bagged over 80 Game of the Year awards (including iOS Game of the Year at the recent Pocket Gamer Awards 2013 ceremony) since it was first released last July.

In other words, grab it while it's cheap. You won't regret it.

If you don't own an iOS-powered device, fear not: Lee Everett and the rest of the characters from Robert Kirkman's zombie-infested comic book world are making their way to PS Vita later this year.

Telltale's iOS The Walking Dead: The Game sale ends on April 10th.
