This week on the PS Vita Store: International Snooker 2012, Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, and a Ubisoft sale

There isn't much new stuff on the PlayStation Store for PS Vita this week, I'm afraid, folks.

But if you're a PS Plus subscriber, you'll still want to check Sony's virtual shop out. Trust me.

Oh, Ubisoft is hosting a lovely sale on many of its Vita games, by the way, so stick with me.

Anyways, enough chit-chat. Let's go...

International Snooker 2012 is precisely what you'd expect it to be. Yep, exactly. It's been out on iOS since late last year, mind - hence the 2012 tag.

Is it any good? Well, depends on your view on snooker, I imagine. Worth noting, however, that it costs more than twice as much on Vita (£9.99) as it does on iOS. Ouch.

The US store is similarly bereft of new Vita software. You'll find Puzzle by Nikoli V Sudoku, a sudoku game with a hugely catchy name, for $4.99 there, mind.

As mentioned above, there's a bunch of Ubisoft Vita games on sale on the American Vita store.

We're talking Rayman Origins, Asphalt: Injection, Dungeon Hunter Alliance, and Lumines Electronic Symphony for $18.89 each, while Michael Jackson: The Experience is now available for $25.19.

There's a bunch of PSP games on sale, too, including Brothers in Arms D-Day, Prince of Persia Rival Swords, and Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines.

Now things get a bit more interesting...

You American Vita gamers aren't missing out, don't worry. Remember all those Ubisoft games that we talked about? The ones that are on sale, listed just above?

Well, if you're a PS Plus subscriber, you get 50 percent off those games. Yes, that means you can pick up Rayman Origins for just $13.22. Yowza.

All the PSP games included in the sale are reduced by 50 percent, too.

There are a few new releases for PS Mobile this week. Hallelujah.

The Sexy Seashore is a shooter about women in bikinis, beaches, flying fish, and cats. So, just the sort of stuff you'd find on Xbox Live Indie Games.

The description for The Sexy Seashore simply reads: "This seashore is for exclusive use of women. Here comes our sea cat to solve strange cases which happen here."

£1.19 if you're into that sort of thing.

Forevolution looks a tad more interesting than those scantily clad ladies. Well, I say that, but actually I have no idea what is going on here.

It seems to be a game about collecting wildlife and splicing them to create monsters. I'm not 100 percent certain, mind. It's £4.49, by the way.

And then there's DOOXDOO, a puzzle game in which you match up colours in a grid. It's light on details, and looks like a basic twist on the match-three genre.

Americans get a bunch of PSP and PSone games this week, including First Queen IV, Sentimental Graffiti, and Persona 2: Eternal Punishment.

They're $5.99 apiece, except Persona 2: Eternal Punishment. Atlus's JRPG currently retails for $9.99, you see.
