If you've been following our site recently, you've no doubt read the controversy that EA stirred up when it announced that Real Racing 3 would shift gears from premium to freemium.

More veteran readers of our site might recall that this sort of controversy has happened before - notably, back when Gameloft announced that Dungeon Hunter 3 would switch from premium to freemium.

Enduring the backlash, Dungeon Hunter 3 picked up a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award in 2011 but, barring an Android release, the franchise has been strangely quiet since then.

That all changed on Monday, when Gameloft took to Twitter to tease Dungeon Hunter 4.

Dun dun dungeon

Details about the upcoming fourth installment in the Dungeon Hunter series are understandably slim, but Gameloft claims it will feature a blend of RPG and action elements.

In addition to the expected new story, dungeons, and loot, Dungeon Hunter 4 looks to also feature a new crafting system for players to master.

We don't have much more to go on past a leaked image posted on Touch Arcade's forums, but we'll keep you updated with news on this title as it becomes available.
