There's another auto-runner charging towards the App Store! Yes, another one.

This one's called Outland Games, it's based on third-person future-sports brawler Monday Night Combat (on XBLA), and it'll be available for iPhone and iPad from midnight this evening.

In Uber Entertainment's side-scrolling sprint-fest, the Monday Night Combat (MNC) creator throws characters from the MNC universe into the Outlands, a perilous wasteland that lies beyond the confines of the MNC stadium.

If contestants are to survive the Outland Games, they must jump, slash, double-jump, slash again, and then triple-jump their way through this treacherous environment.

Those slashes are for cutting through troublesome mechs, by the way, while the constant leaping will help you clear chasms and collect coloured coins.

Cover a decent amount of ground in Outland Games, and you will be rewarded with new weapons and costumes.

There's even the option to play as MNC's animator and gravity-defying YouTube hit Azo. You know, if that's your thing.

You'll be able to download Outland Games from the UK and US App Stores for 69p / 99c at midnight.
