Sticky balls and giant windmills collide in first Super Stickman Golf 2 footage

Super Stickman Golf dev Noodlecake has released a few more tantalising details and the first official trailer for wacky sports game Super Stickman Golf 2.

Though it's been a long time since the first entry in this quirky franchise swung onto iOS (December 2010, fact fans), the Canadian studio hasn't been wasting its time chasing eagles or flicking bogeys.

As it turns out, Noodlecake has been hard at work rebuilding the game from scratch, and is ready to drive 16 brand-new courses (and four revamped classics) right onto our iOS and Android, errr, greens.

As you can see in the trailer above, the levels in Super Stickman Golf 2 are far busier than the ones in its predecessor.

So, you'll encounter interactive objects like gravity boosters and portals, and crazy golf-style contraptions like giant windmills.

You will also be able to tee off against your golfing buddies thanks to a brand-new asynchronous multiplayer mode. What's more, this mode will support cross-platform play, meaning you can compare your swing with both your Android- and iOS-loving chums.

Noodlecake has also mentioned ability-gifting hats, new unlockable characters, and an XP-driven Tour progression system.

As for a release date, a little birdie has told us to expect a concrete Super Stickman Golf 2 launch announcement this very month.
