Location-based package transportation title Go Deliver - London has just been posted through the App Store letterbox.

The debut release from Midoki aims to get you out of your house and onto streets (in a good way, that is). To that end, you'll be tasked with delivering and collecting virtual packages from specific areas around London.

Locations and parcels will be flagged in the app, and your progress will be tracked using GPS. The emphasis is not on speed but planning, as your virtual bag only has space for a limited number of packages.

If you can't make it to a drop-off point, you can get help from other players. Since all the parcels exist in the cloud, your friends can collect abandoned packages and complete the delivery for you - for a share of the points, of course.

Dan Martinez-Normand, director and co-founder of Midoki (a studio composed of former Sony, Rare, and Codemasters staffers), claims that London is just the start, with San Francisco and other cities to be added to the game soon.

You can collect Go Deliver - London from the App Store for free right now.
