Cut the Rope is now optimised for the iPhone 5's elongated 4-inch display, thanks to the game's most recent iOS update.

While it was polishing up the game's visuals, Cut the Rope dev ZeptoLab had a look at the menu system and decided those cardboard boxes needed a little re-arranging.

As a result, you'll find Cut the Rope's themed boxes (including the most recent Spooky Box, demoed in the video below) divided into three "seasons", each containing a maximum of five episode boxes.

Also, some freshly embedded links mean fans of the Cut the Rope web cartoon can now jump straight to their favourite episodes from within the game itself.

If you're more interested in collecting Cut the Rope's elusive candy than watching videos, you can experiment with Om Nom's new telekinetic superpowers for free, courtesy of the update's complimentary trio of power credits.

Owners of Cut the Rope: Experiments will also be able to benefit from these gratis superpowers, as well as the cartoon links and iPhone 5 optimisation.

The same goes for Android users (minus the iPhone 5 support, natch), who can now (finally) have a bash at the Spooky Levels which the Apple crowd has been playing for over a month. Better late than never.
