Old skool saloon shooter Mad Dog McCree blasts onto the Nintendo eShop
Plus, Mega Man, 18th Gate, and Mutant Mudds update
Nintendo is bringing a flavour of the Old West to the UK eShop today in the form of craptastic saloon shooter Mad Dog McCree.
Released on Laserdisc (it's like a massive CD, kids) back in 1990, this laughable, yet lovable live-action shooter casts you as an unnamed gunslinger charged with rescuing the sheriff's daughter from the titular outlaw.
We're guessing this 3DS version will be a touchscreen-centric affair in keeping with last year's iOS port. It'll set you back £4.49 / €4.99, and two shots of sippin' whiskey.
As we mentioned yesterday, you can now grab a digital copy of the original Mega Man in all its 8-bit glory, too. Oh, and you can give hex-based RPG 18th Gate a go on 3DS and DSi. Once again, £4.49 / €4.99 is the asking price for each.
If you were infected by the retro charm of Mutant Mudds, meanwhile, you'll be pleased to hear that there's a free update available, which adds 20 new levels and a handful of new songs to the platformer.
Furthermore, you can now download Mario Tennis Open on the eShop for £10 more than it costs in the shops. So, you know, knock yourself out.
