Extended trailer for Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is twice as explosive

Earlier in the week, we posted the first trailer for Gameloft's upcoming FPS shooter Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour.

Now that the dust has settled on this promo vid - shown at the Tokyo Games Show - Gameloft has released an extended full HD version of that trailer (embedded below).

As we learned from the first video, fictional US president Burke has been kidnapped from a conference in Hawaii, and ex-green beret Edward Page is the prime suspect.

The extended trailer doesn't flesh out the story any further, but it does give series fans a taste of what they really love: shots of hi-tech vehicles, devastating weaponry, and things exploding in slow motion.

Judging by the palm trees and exotic island locale, it's a safe bet that players will find themselves storming Hawaii's golden beaches at one point or another.

Plus, as futuristic helicopter drones are the hot thing right now, Gameloft has chucked a few dual-rotor choppers in for good measure. How thoughtful.

If that trailer has you clutching your barrel with excitement, you'll be pleased to know that Gameloft will deploy Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour on iPhone, iPad, and Android this autumn.
