EA is back for another shot at footballing glory with FIFA 13 for iOS, now available on the App Store.

As we noted during our hands-on back in June, this year's update builds upon the successes of last year's Pocket Gamer Gold Award-winning entry via some neat control options and visual enhancements.

For example, you can now use swipe gestures to perform tricks using the new Skill Move button, and use two-fingered gestures (nope, not THOSE) to tinker with your team tactics mid-match.

You'll also find that FIFA 13 is the best-looking entry in the series to date, courtesy of some truly gorgeous Retina display-optimised visuals.

Elsewhere, Manager Mode has made a return, alongside a fully featured online multiplayer mode - a first for FIFA on iOS.

Plus, with this being a FIFA title and all, you'll have access to 500 licensed teams, 15,000 real-life players, and 30 real-world leagues. Goal? Goal.

You can download FIFA 13 for iPhone and iPad for £4.99 / $6.99 from the App Store now.
