Mid-week iOS releases: The Room, Lili, Earn to Die, and more
Newbies
Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad mid-week releases.
As you all probably know by now, we produce this article each week because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new game that hits the App Store. Jägerbombs don't drink themselves, you know.
Anyway, these games have recently hit Apple's New Zealand outlet, meaning they should be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.
The excitement is palpable.

You can now download hit online title Earn to Die (which boasts over 150 million plays) from the App Store and play it on an iOS-powered device of your choice.
If you haven't played it, you have to jump behind the wheel of eight different vehicles, and run down as many flesh-eating zombies as you can. You'll earn cash throughout, which you can spend on upgrades.

On The Room's App Store product page, its creator describes it as a "physical puzzler, wrapped in a mystery game, inside a beautifully tactile 3D world."
From that, we gather you'll be exploring environments and solving all manner of complex puzzles. Unfortunately, The Room will only run on Apple's second- and third-generation iPads.

Lili is a gorgeous-looking adventure / RPG hybrid title, which features "silky-smooth" graphics and a "cinematic" storyline.
In Lili, you have to explore the island of Geos, and challenge several oppressive regimes along the way, using a rather strange "non-combat" system.
iCloud and Retina display support are baked right in.

The world of Lunar is under threat from a shadowy figure known as the Magic Emperor. Naturally, your job in this traditional Japanese turn-based role-playing game is to protect this world.
Lunar: Silver Star Story Touch has been enhanced for the iPhone and iPad, and now features around 60 minutes of animated cutscenes, an updated UI, and Game Center integration.
JAM: Jets Aliens MissilesBy Neptune Interactive - buy for iPhone and iPad
Neptune Interactive's new title is an old skool shmup that boasts five different stages, three difficulty levels, and hand-drawn 3D graphics.
There are a variety of enemies to defeat and huge bosses to overcome. Thankfully, you have plenty of weapons, such as the spray-and-pray Machine Gun and the armor-slicing Laser, at your disposal.
Recharging shields and Shockwave bombs improve your chances of survival, too.
