NES classic Zelda II will hit Nintendo 3DS eShop on Thursday

Another week, another batch of 3DS eShop hopefuls. All ready and willing to catch you unaware and steal money from your bank account, leaving only games as evidence that they were ever at the scene of the crime.

This week marks the injection of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link into the 3DS Virtual Console - the classic side-scrolling Zelda title that took the original Legend of Zelda in an entirely new direction.

This second in the series introduced lots of elements that are now as standard in all Zelda titles, and while it's often considered to be the black sheep of the family, it's well worth playing if only to see what all the fuss is about.

£4.50 will bag you a copy, when it hits the shop this Thursday.

There's also a new 3DS downloadable title coming out too - Crazy Kangaroo follows Barney, a kangaroo caught by nasty poachers. Thankfully, Barney escapes and lives to hop away.

The game makes use of both the 3DS motion sensor and the standard controls, while throwing lovely handdrawn graphics our way.

Elsewhere, you can expect a demo for Shifting World, songs for Final Fantasy: Theatrhythm, and Bookstore Dream: a bookshop management game for both 3DS and DSi.

So you're spoilt for choice, really! Expect all these titles to drop on Thursday.
