Riptide GP dev brings Beach Buggy Blitz to Tegra-powered Android devices

We have some good news and some bad news for all of you Android gamers out there.

The good news is that Riptide GP creator Vector Unit has just released an impressive-looking racer called Beach Buggy Blitz.

The bad news is that it's only available on Tegra-powered devices.

As you can see from the images in our gallery to the right, Beach Buggy Blitz is gorgeous. Blooming gorgeous, in fact.

In Beach Buggy Blitz, you jump behind the wheel of a customisable vehicle and race deeper and deeper into the heart of a mysterious tropical island that's packed with Tiki statues, grass shacks, giant crabs, and various other destructible elements.

Monster mash

You can unlock new vehicles as you progress, which include monster trucks and sports cars, and bag helpful power-ups, such as fire-spitting boost and a shield that renders you invincible.

Tracks in Beach Buggy Blitz are created procedurally, so you shouldn't - theoretically - experience the same, well, experience, more than once.

Oh, we have some more good news, by the way: it's free. So, head on over to Google Play by clicking this link or by scanning the QR code below.
