Create sweet beats with critters in My Singing Monsters for iPhone and iPad

Canadian mobile developer and publisher Big Blue Bubble has just released a cute, cuddly, and colourful free-to-play iOS title called My Singing Monsters, which features a variety of tune-loving critters.

Your aim in this game is to slowly gain access to, breed, and care for around 30 creatures, and then use them to create some über-sweet beats. Basically, think of each creature as a unique musical instrument.

I've just downloaded My Singing Monsters from the App Store and messed around with it for ten minutes or so. There's lots of tapping on your device's screen to construct buildings and collect revenue involved, but the rewards for doing so (new monsters) appear to be worth the effort.

Diamonds are forever

Naturally, you speed up almost all of your chores if you're willing to spend some premium pennies, which - in this case - are diamonds.

Be warned, though: the song that you carefully craft as you gain access to new beasties is ruddy addictive, and it's likely to get stuck in your head for at least a few days. It's like sugar-coated crack. Or something.

Anyway, you can download My Singing Monsters from the App Store right now for free.
