Reminiscent of Advance Wars?

I'm still heavily into Supercell's Clash of Clans and struggling to get into Kabam's Arcane Empires, so the last thing I need to be playing is another city-building PVP game.

Still, Gamevil's Kingdom Royale looks pretty interesting.

It has everything you'd expect. A kingdom to build up as you collect resources to level up buildings and create armies.

The battles are turn-based and are represented in a similar way to Nintendo/Intelligent System's Advance Wars.

Of course, given that Gamevil is a Korean company, the game's graphics are heavily influenced by that superdeformed anime style too, with spiky-haired heroes wielding massive swords and shooting off magical spells.

The game world is also split into the usual fantasy tribes - human, elf and orcs - while you can team up with your friends to expand your kingdoms together.

Due to be available for Android devices any minute now via Google Play, Kingdom Royale is a free-to-play game.

Check out the action in the following video.
