Crescent Moon Games founder and creative director Josh Presseisen has taken to Twitter to announce the launch of new publishing company Forest Moon Games.

Traditionally, Crescent Moon has focused on publishing crowd-pleasing 3D titles such as playful platformer Paper Monsters and ingenious tyre-squealer Slingshot Racing.

Forest Moon Games, on the other hand, will provide a launchpad for 2D and casual games, which contain and promote "experimental ideas and innovation".

As of now, the publisher is teasing six titles, four of which were revealed today.

Creatures of the forest

Ticking the retro-platformer boxes we have Relic Rush and Invader Eliminator, while 300 Dwarves caters to fans of fantasy settings and tower defence.

If sci-fi shooters are your bag, then you might want to keep your eye on J.A.M. (Jets, Aliens, Missiles, in case you were wondering).

Finally, tile-based puzzler Hairy Tales and the Lewis Carol-inspired A Wonderland Story complete the line-up of games, all of which are due out "soon".
