Obama and Romney won't battle it out in banned iOS game Angry Elections

Mobvie.com received some rather bad news from Apple: their latest app, Angry Elections, is banned in its current form.
Similar to Chair Entertainment's fighter Vote!!!, Angry Elections allows players to pit American political candidates against one another on the screens of their smartphones and tablets.
Following a successful launch on Google Play earlier this summer, the Angry Birds-inspired game has players launch the heads of political candidates against stacks of luminaries from the opposing party.
Independent voters can choose to play as leaders of the Occupy protest movement, and take shots at Republicans and Democrats alike.
Rejected but not dejectedMobvie.com shared some of Apple's reasons for rejecting Angry Elections, principally:
14.1: Any app that is defamatory, offensive, mean-spirited, or likely to place the targeted individual or group in harm's way will be rejected. 22.2: Apps that contain false, fraudulent or misleading representations will be rejected.Undaunted, the developer changed the name to 'Mad Elections' and removed some controversial audio clips that it felt caused the app to be labeled as offensive or mean-spirited.
Whether or not Mad Elections will make its way past Apple's Review Board in time for the November elections remains to be seen.
