Music-infused puzzler Splice: Tree of Life will bloom onto iPad tomorrow

Cipher Prime's much-anticipated music-based puzzler Splice: Tree of Life has just - as expected - landed on Apple's New Zealand App Store, which means it'll be available to download in the UK and US from midnight this evening.

Splice: Tree of Life is an "experimental and artistic" puzzle game in which you rearrange cells into a target structure in a set number of moves. Cells react differently to one another and will mutate in different ways, so you'll often have to experiment and plan your moves in advance.

Pocket Gamer's very own Mike Rose has already played through the PC version of this game and highly recommends that you grab its iPad iteration whenever you can. It's £2.49 / $3.99 if you're interested.

Be aware: in Splice: Tree of Life's App Store description, the dev warns that gameplay might be sluggish on Apple's first-gen iPad.
