Angry Birds NFL tie-in game with Philadelphia Eagles to be Facebook exclusive

The Angry Birds are set to invade Lincoln Financial Field, home of the Philadelphia Eagles, on September 4th.

We reported on the tie-in between Rovio and the NFL franchise earlier this summer, and now the first details about the game have surfaced.

Hands on the pigskin

The game is exclusive to the Philadelphia Eagles' Facebook page, and will retain all of the famous Angry Birds slingshot physics.

The first chapter will go live on September 4th, five days before the Eagles' first regular season game against the Cleveland Browns.

Following the first level, a new level will unlock every week thereafter for each of the 16 weeks of the regulation football season.

There's no word on what – if anything – will happen should the Eagles make it into the post-season, but a few bonus levels would certainly be nice.
