Retro point-and-click game McPixel explodes onto iOS and Android

Indie developer Sos's debut mobile game, McPixel, has just landed on the App Store and Google Play for the special introductory price of £1.49 / $1.99 (iOS) and £1.19 / $2.04 (Android).

McPixel plays out as a series of lightning-quick point-and-click puzzles, where you have to figure out how to stop an explosive from blowing up your nearby surroundings. In 15 seconds.

In one scene, for example, you've got to find a hospital patient with a stick of dynamite wedged in his colon and punch his stomach to forcibly remove the TNT. A typical day for a doctor, in truth.

Everything zips along at a relentless pace, calling to mind an old skool version of The Moron Test, or any of the WarioWare titles.

The game is governed by a complete lack of logic, which only seems to add to its appeal. Each scene has any number of random, hilarious, and offbeat consequences that you'll probably want to see.

If Monkey Island-meets-WarioWare sounds like your bag, grab it quick. The discount's only available for today, so download it before it all blows up in your stupid face.
