I'll be honest: I'm excited about this one.

Ivanovich Games has announced that Time Geeks & Friends, a new social spin-off that's based on Time Geeks: Find All! (one of my all-time favourite hidden object games), will crash onto Apple's App Store on August 30th.

Much like in the company's aforementioned seek-'em-up, your aim in this forthcoming title is to carefully scan pixel-art environments in search of specific hidden items. This time around, though, it's a turn-based affair, so you'll be competing head-to-head with your friends or strangers.

Power-ups will allow you to get ahead of your competition, grab great leaderboard spots, and unlock numerous Game Center achievements.

Time Geeks & Friends will be a free Universal app that takes full advantage of the Retina display on Apple's latest iPad. Pretty nifty.
