Play over 100 PSone classics on Vita from next week
Including Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, and Final Fantasy VII
Make sure you turn off your nostalgia meters next week because otherwise they'll probably explode: Sony is set to release over 100 classic PSone titles on the Vita.
As it stands, the PlayStation Store is already home to a multitude of retro gems, though you need to own a PlayStation 3 or a PSP to play them.
From August 28th, however, Vita owners will be able to join in the PSone classics fun, thanks to a long-awaited firmware update.
For many, this will prove the perfect way to revisit some seminal PSone experiences, including Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil 2, and Final Fantasy VII.
You'll be able to get your virtual hands on these, and 100-odd more, games when the PSone classics become available to download on your PS Vita in exactly a week's time (August 28th).
