Locnet's Gamekeyboard app for Android smartphones was updated over the weekend, so it's now able to fill your touchscreen device with more buttons than you ever thought possible.

After you've installed this update, the app will be able to emulate an entire OnLive joypad on-screen, letting you play games from the whole OnLive collection, rather than just the ones that have been optimised for touchscreen controls.

The process of getting the app working is rather fiddly, and you're going to need a rooted Android device running at least version 3.1 of the OS for it to work. But, once it's up and running, you'll be able to customise your joypad layout so that you can find one that works perfectly for you.

Thankfully, there are a lot of tutorials and FAQs for the Gamekeyboard app over on the Locnet website, which should help you through most of the tricky parts of the setup process.

The updated Gamekeyboard app is available from the Google Play Store right now, and will set you back just £1.49. You can grab it by clicking on this hyperlink [download].
