Magic Wingdom brings action to the world of marble poppers
Luxor-ious
Developer Playcreek is stepping back into the realm of marble matching games with the upcoming iOS release of Magic Wingdom.
Way back in 2009, Playcreek wound up in a bit of hot water for publishing Stoneloops! which - it was argued - played a little too close to Luxor and was slated for a takedown by Apple after MumboJumbo (Luxor's developer) filed a complaint.
Magic Wingdom has players swipe at spinning marbles (eggs) of different colours in an attempt to match them before they collide and explode.
Picture tossing a bag of volatile M&Ms on your kitchen table and you won’t be far off from what the setup to Magic Wingdom looks like.
Feathered funMagic Wingdom also delivers a clever twist to the match-three marble style of puzzler and requires that players swipe to draw a line between eggs of the same colour. The combination of line-drawing and colour matching looks to be the makings of a rather interesting game.
We will keep you updated with a launch date and pricing for the game when they are made available.
