Striking and original Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning puzzler Polymer has been updated with a healthy dollop of extra content, making it even more frustrating that so many of you have ignored it thus far.

Version 2.0 adds in Universal support for both Retina and normal iPads, a multiplayer mode that sees you trying to construct larger polymers than your friends, and two variations on the Two Minutes Mode (Five and Ten minutes).

There's also a few minor additions, such as the ability to see the score of a polymer you're about to destroy, as well as a nicer-looking app icon and new colour schemes to purchase as IAP.

For those that didn't see Harry's review of the game, Polymer is a twist on the ancient sliding block puzzle that sees you moving rows and columns in order to construct shapes that wouldn't look out of place in a late 20th Century art exhibition.

It certainly won over Harry, who called it "a puzzle game that feels new and fresh". Polymer is available now on the App Store as a Universal app for £1.49/$1.99.
