HTC has confirmed that its 2012 Android flagship handsets, the One S, One X, and One XL, will all be getting an update to the latest version of Android (Jelly Bean).

"We know HTC fans are excited to get their hands on Google's latest version of Android", begins Jeff Gordon, Global Online Communications Manager for the Taiwanese phone maker, "we can confirm that we have plans to upgrade our HTC One X, HTC One XL, and HTC One S to Jelly Bean".

Alas, for all the fans/owners of HTC phones out there, Gordon wasn't quite so specific on when this will take place, instead asking for everyone to "stay tuned for more updates regarding device upgrades, timing and other details".

Still, this makes a welcome change from most of the other Android manufactorers, who have been almost exclusively silent about Jelly Bean upgrades since the OS was announced at Google I/O earlier in the year.
