Visually stunning first-person shooter Dead Trigger has been treated to a sizeable update by developer Madfinger Games. The Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning title now boasts several new features and a whole horde of tweaks and refinements.

Features-wise, there are now unique missions for both of the game's Easy and Hard difficulty levels, an all-new zombie-killing weapon called the Remington Tactics, and something called "IronSight", which we presume allows you to utilise the sights on your weapons.

Finally, Apple's Game Center social gaming network is now integrated into Dead Trigger, which means there are 26 new unlockable achievements for you to get your mitts on.

Stop bugging me

As for bug fixes and tweaks, Madfinger Games has managed to fix the issue that resulted in your bank disappearing, patched up the problem that led to your money booster not operating properly, and added the ability to walk while lobbing a grenade.

There are more, but they're not that exciting.

It's the next Dead Trigger update that you should really be excited about, though, for it will introduce the game's first survival arena, two new environments, two new flesh-eaters, and two fresh weapons (the chainsaw and boat motor). Oh, and iCloud support.

Grab Dead Trigger from the App Store as a Universal app for 69p / 99c.
