So, Infinite Sky was actually made free around three days ago, but I'm struggling to find anything worth recommending from the past 24 hours, so just calm yourselves down. Thanks.

Anyway, in this high-flying shoot-'em-up, you're tasked with defending the skies against waves of enemies across 100 action-packed missions using one of five planes, your best reflexes, and a bit of luck.

If you owned an Atari 2600 back in the day, the cropped screenshot above may bring back many memories: Yes, it's strikingly similar to Activision's classic catch-'em-up Keystone Kapers.

Playing as a copper, your aim in this homage is to run through randomly-generated levels while avoiding frisbees, dogs, and various other traps. Get hit three times in a single level, and you're thrown off the force (until your next attempt, at least).

Anthony is a Liverpool, UK-based writer who fell in love with gaming while playing Super Mario World on his SNES back in the early '90s. When he isn't busy grooming his beard, you can find him replaying Resident Evil or Final Fantasy VII for the umpteenth time. Aside from gaming, Anthony likes hiking, MMA, and pretending he’s a Viking.
