Fishing Joy 2 set to splash onto iPhone and iPad tomorrow
Wet and wild
PunchBox Studios has announced that it's bringing casual underwater adventure sequel Fishing Joy 2 to Apple's App Store tomorrow.
Just like in the original Fishing Joy, which now boasts around 85 million worldwide players, Fishing Joy 2 tasks you with catching fish - all of which come in different shapes and sizes.
Naturally, the bigger the fish, the more it's worth. Nabbing a clownfish, for example, will net you a measly eight coins, whereas a large hammerhead is worth around 100.
You can spend these coins on a variety of upgrades that will boost your firepower and increase your chances of snagging a large swimmer.
Angling for more moneyCollecting coins also leads to your levelling-up, which, in turn, leads to new locations and underwater scenes.
Starting tomorrow, you'll be able to grab Fishing Joy 2 in one of two different flavours: an iPhone and iPod touch version, and an iPad version designed with Apple's latest iPad iteration in mind.
They'll both set you back 69p / 99c a pop.
