101 smartphones tested
If you own a modern-day smartphone, there's a very good chance that you've moaned about its battery life. We had a little moan earlier today, after all.
While none of the recently smartphones have truly exceptional battery lives, some are, obviously, better than others. According to Which?, out of a whopping 101 smartphones it tested, Samsung's Galaxy S III came out on top.
As you can see from the graphic below, Samsung's flagship device is capable of 726 minutes of calls on a medium 3G reception before its battery runs dry, which is 259 minutes more than the iPhone 4S can boast.
The average talk time on 3G of all 101 phones tested was a rather underwhelming 315 minutes. Motorola's Gleam managed an embarrassing 135 minutes. It's not even a smartphone.
