Gold Award-winning iPad game Kingdom Rush heading to iPhone tomorrow

Armor Games and Ironhide Game Studio's excellent tower defence title Kingdom Rush is out now on the New Zealand App Store, meaning it'll be dashing its way across to the UK and US from midnight tonight.

One of our highest-rated games in the genre, Kingdom Rush combines comic capering in a fantasy world with very tightly honed levels that'll have even veterans of the genre scratching their chin in appreciation.

Keith absolutely loved it on iPad (he wouldn't stop going on about it in the office), handing the game a prized Pocket Gamer Gold Award, so I'd expect this iPhone version to be just as appealing.

Kingdom Rush will be out from midnight tonight BST, priced at 69p / 99c. Alternatively, you can pick up the iPad version now for £1.99 / $2.99.
