We already knew that the odd Nobunaga's Ambition/Pokemon crossover Pokemon Conquest was heading to the United States in June. Now, Nintendo of Europe has confirmed that the tactical strategy title will also be sailing its way over to UK shores on July 27th.

Pokemon Conquest (known as Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition in Japan) takes the logical step of transplanting 200 of everyone's favourite set of creatures into feudal Japan.

Rather than take the form of a traditional Pokemon title, Conquest sees you do battle on isometric grids - in much the same way as a typical tactical RPG plays out.

There are, however, still some familiar Pokemon elements in play, like, well, having different elements such as fire and water.

Pokemon Conquest will be out on the Nintendo DS on June 18th in North America, and July 27th in the UK.
