Foxconn CEO says iPhone 5 will put Samsung's Galaxy S III 'to shame'
|

According to Terry Gou, the CEO of manufacturer Foxconn, the next iteration of Apple's iPhone (which Gou's firm will manufacture) will put Samsung's flagship Galaxy S III smartphone "to shame".

For those of you unfamiliar with Gou and his corporate strategy, Foxconn's chief executive has made it his mission to 'defeat' the South Korea-based Samsung - a company that has a "track record of snitching on its competitors."

Gou's rather bitchy comment refers to Samsung's decision in 2010 to report four Taiwanese companies that were being investigated over a price-fixing scandal.

Given that Apple will likely launch the iPhone 5 in either September or October, we haven't got too long to wait to discover whether Gou is right or not about the next iPhone putting the Galaxy S III in the shade.
