Earlier today, Rise to Fame: The Music RPG strummed its way onto the App Store for the iPhone and iPad

This title tasks you with becoming one of the world's best and most-loved rockstars, by touring the world with your band and pulling off rocking shows for cowboys, aliens, and other music-loving punters.

There are five different original songs for you to learn and play, and seven stage venues to visit, as well as 22 levels to master. Your trip around the world isn't just about music, and, like a real star, you'll find yourself dodging projectiles from unhappy fans and vying for the attention of attractive women.

Along the way, there'll also be plenty of opportunities to boost your skills, grab improved musical instruments, and customise the look of your band with new outfits.
