Welcome back to Pocket Gamer's round-up of the latest iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad mid-week releases.

As you all probably know by now, we produce this article each week because we're simply too busy to bring you a story on every single new game that hits the App Store.

These games have recently hit Apple's New Zealand outlet, meaning they should be available to download in the UK and US from around midnight this evening.

Mutant Storm

Xbox Live Arcade title Mutant Storm, which is now available for the iPad, is a fast-paced psychedelic shooter that plays out over 89 levels.

As you progress through this game, you earn score multipliers, but also make your enemies even angrier and more determined to kill you.

Suspect in Sight

In Suspect in Sight, you take on the role of a badass cop called Rob, who flies his helicopter around three different cities - Miami, New York, and Los Angeles - in search of unscrupulous perps.

This title is packed with a number of mod-cons, including support for the Retina display on Apple's latest iPad iteration, iCloud functionality, and AirPlay capabilities.

Temple Run: Brave

Temple Run: Brave isn't another of the App Store's infamous clones. Instead, it's an official app from both Imangi Studios and Disney.

You take control of protagonist Merida as you run, jump and slide your way across Scotland and over and under obstacles. This time around, there are also targets to think about, which you can shoot by tapping on them.

In this title, you play as Punka - a robo-kitten who's job it is to collect energy from canisters and feed a giant hungry head. Yeah, strange.
