Introducing Amazing Alex
So who is this Alex kid anyhow?
Well, he's amazing. That goes without saying - otherwise he wouldn't be called Amazing Alex, would he?
But more than that, Alex is always seeing how things fit together, making some incredible machines, working out what would happen if a bowling ball rolled a slope and knocked over some books, which fell on the scissors, cutting the rope attached to a balloon...
You get the picture. He's a 'let's try this right now and worry about the consequence later' kinda 12-year-old boy.
It's all amazing fun, but even the best designed contraptions can sometimes go a little bit wrong. You remember the time Alex built a baseball machine in his bedroom, right?
Yes, even the smartest kid occasionally needs help, which is where you come into play.
In Amazing Alex, there are 100 puzzling levels in which you've provided with various household objects that you have to position and combine in order to fulfill a certain objective, such as getting the books into the basket, the bouncing rubber balls right through the hole in the floor, or guide the remote controlled car over the obstacles so the spy with the secrets can escape from the evil pig.
That last description is Alex's imagination getting the better of him again!
But that's not all. To gain maximum points, you'll have to do these things while also bumping objects into the three stars which are positioned on each level - just to make the puzzles that little bit more puzzling. (Clever. Wonder where that idea came from?)
Of course, completing 100 levels to a three star standard is going to take some time, but together you and Alex will be able to do it. And there will be plenty of other puzzles to complete. In fact, you can create your own using the inbuilt level editor, emailing them to your friends, as well as sharing them online, and downloading any that catch your eye.
Yes, I think you and Amazing Alex are going to have plenty of fun together. Just try not to break any more windows...
