UPDATE: Got my months wrong: It's July 27th, not June 27th as was originally written. Edited article follows:

Square Enix has announced that it'll be publishing a new brain training game called Mensa Academy, which will be heading to the Nintendo 3DS on July 27th.

The game is being created with help and advice from top brain boffin society Mensa (hence, the title); features three modes of play; and contains over 100 levels spread over five different categories of brainteasers.

There'll be a Coaching mode for players to "hone their abilities and assess their progress", as well as a grand finale in which you have to take a big ol' test to discover your Mensa Academy score.

Mensa Academy has also been confirmed for both Android and iOS, but Square Enix is keeping the exact release dates for these platforms close to its chest for now.
