You'd think that after Disney's Where's My Water? had reached #1 in over 80 different App Stores, its star, Swampy the Alligator, would just want to sit back and enjoy his new-found fame.

No chance.

Disney has decided to capitalise on the success of Where's My Water? by designing and selling a load of merchandise related to Swampy and his nemesis, Cranky.

Swamped

"Where's My Water? has quickly become one of the most popular titles in mobile gaming history, making Swampy one of the most beloved characters ever born from a mobile franchise," Bart Decrem, SVP of Disney Mobile, said.

"Launching a line of Disney merchandise just seven months after hitting the App Store is a testament to the cultural relevance Swampy and his friends have already achieved."

Available in stores in June, and online in the US now, the first wave of Where's My Water? merch includes plushies of Swampy, Cranky, and Allie (Swampy's 'girlfriend'); T-shirts; and iPod cases.

If you still can't get enough of Disney's lovable alligator, then you're in luck.

Later this year, Swampy will make his online debut in a 12-episode web series entitled 'Where's My Water? The Adventures of Swampy'. We imagine it'll involve liquid.
