Rayman Origins for 3DS heading to US on June 5th
Out on June 8th in Europe
I'm struggling to remember a 3DS game that's had its release date tinkered with quite so much as Rayman Origins has over the past few months, but finally Ubisoft has confirmed to Pocket Gamer both the US and European launch dates - June 5th and 8th, respectively.
Rayman Origins is something of a return to form for the iconic French limbless fellow, having been resigned to playing bit parts in spin-off games like Raving Rabbids in recent years.
A combination of striking artwork, slick animation, and some solid traditional platforming helped the little guy nab a Pocket Gamer Gold Award when he ventured onto the PS Vita earlier in the year, so we have high hopes for this 3DS outing.
