Atlus releases new batch of Persona 4: The Golden screenshots

Autumn can’t come quickly enough

Atlus releases new batch of Persona 4: The Golden screenshots

Persona 4: The Golden is scheduled for a June 15th release in Japan, and Atlus is promoting it with a new batch of screenshots, showing new features and characters.

Andriasang posted the latest screenshots and the game is looking simply gorgeous.

In addition to the combat and persona summoning screenshots, the new batch also highlights the game’s fishing, bug catching, and fortune (omikuji) components, as well as the Rise Kuikawa character.

The fishing and bug catching gameplay segments are new to Persona 4, while a simpler version of the omikuji existed in Persona 3 Portable.

All that glitters

Persona 4 is the latest installment of the successful Shin Megami Tensei series of JRPGs and is also one of the most anticipated games for the PS Vita.

While Atlus has confirmed launch window of fall/autumn 2012 for Persona 4 in the United States, no official release date – or release window – has yet been provided for Europe.
