As we told you yesterday, Japanese manufacturer Sony recently let slip that a full announcement regarding upcoming PS Vita title Soul Sacrifice would take place on May 10th. Tomorrow, in other words.

It looks like those details have already surfaced, though.

For starters, we now know that Soul Sacrifice takes place inside of a special book, which appears before the game's protagonist moments before he's used as a sacrificial offering.

This tome, which is actually a demon in book form, contains records of past fights between a sorcerer and variety of monsters. After entering the book, you replay the stories and battles found within.

Soul Sacrifice will support up to four different players, and although it's currently unknown exactly how multiplayer will work, it looks like you'll be able to sacrifice your fellow players. You'll also be able to choose and change the style of your character.

Finally, the enemies you face throughout the game are ex-humans who have forfeited their human form due to their excessive use of magic. Yes, it looks like you can make the same mistake.
