RIM, not Samsung, could be responsible for last week's 'Wake Up' anti-Apple protests
|

Last week, a large group of protesters surrounded an Australian Apple Store with placards reading simply "wake up", and began to shout the slogan loudly at anybody who'd listen.

We, along with the majority of the tech-loving internet, reported that the protest was presumably set up by Apple's nemesis: Samsung.

Now, however, it looks like BlackBerry manufacturer RIM could be responsible for the slightly laughable event. Macworld Australia has found some dubious DoubleClick code in the 'Wake Up' website that it believes links back to RIM's website. Sneaky.

Samsung has, of course, denied any involvement in the event.
