Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning Android title Hero Mages, which is also available for the iPhone and iPad, is being made into physical real-world boardgame.

Hero Mages is a turn-based strategy title in which you take control of a band of brave warriors as they fight to control the fate of Papillion - a once peaceful land that's now on the brink of war.

The title already features several boardgame elements, such as a set of dice and cards that represent magical spells, so it makes perfect sense for it to be transformed into a physical experience.

There aren't too many details of this upcoming release available, but the publisher of Hero Mages: The Board Game, Game Salute, has promised to issue more info and progress updates in the future.

Hero Mages is available to download from the App Store as a Universal app for £1.99 / £2.99 [buy], and from Google Play for £1.88 [buy]
