Konami releases new screenshots for upcoming PS Vita title Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection

Japanese games giant Konami has released a bunch of new screenshots for its upcoming handheld version of Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection, which is expected to hit European PS Vitas this summer.

The screenshots, which you can view in our gallery to the right of this paragraph, feature franchise favourite Solid Snake, that Raiden guy, and Naked Snake performing their normal repertoire of moves, including shooting, sneaking, and crawling.

The Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection will contain two games: Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Both of these titles will contain a graphical makeover, a rebalanced user interface, and new control options.

You'll also be able to unlock PSN trophies as you play, and share data with the MGS: HD Collection for PlayStation 3 using Kojima Productions's Transfarring system.
