Robot Entertainment has announced that a new update for its Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning asynchronous strategy title Hero Academy is on its way to the App Store.

The update, which will be available "soon", will not only turn the title into a Universal app that can be played on the iPad with higher-resolution graphics, but introduce an all-new team to the mix: Tribe.

Tribal instinct

This team is made up of a Warrior, an Axe Thrower, a Witch, a Shaman, and a Chieftain – all of which pack unique powers and abilities. This new team also comes with Tribe avatar packs and a Tribe-inspired playing field.

If you fancy getting your hands on the update, you can visit Robot Entertainment at booth 1172 during this year's Pax East event, which is held in Boston, Massachusetts between April 6th and April 8th.

Otherwise, wait for it to hit the App Store "soon". Hero Academy is available for free.
