Disney's Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion coming to 3DS this autumn

Last week, we happened upon a tweet from the French Official Nintendo Magazine (ONM) which suggested that a new Mickey Mouse-related 3DS title was about to be unveiled.

Any uncertainty has now been put to bed by Nintendo Power's latest front page splash, which promises an exclusive look at Disney's Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion for 3DS.

Though Disney has yet to release an official statement on the matter, the writer of the French ONM article identifies Monster Tale developer DreamRift as the team holding all the brushes.

As for a release date, the game is apparently set to launch this autumn, alongside console sequel Epic Mickey: Power of Two for the Wii.

We're not sure what artistic antics Disney has in store for 3DS owners, but we wouldn't be surprised if the team was working on a Draw Something-style mini-game at this very moment.
