Polish developer Jujubee's new anti-gravity racer Flashout 3D will speed onto Android and iOS this summer.

This futuristic racing game, which bears more than a passing resemblance to PS Vita title WipEout 2048, hopes to glue speed freaks to their mobiles with the promise of full 3D graphics, online multiplayer, and a music "interactive equalizer".

"What's a music 'interactive equalizer' when it's at home, then?" I hear you ask. It means that - as in Beat Hazard Ultra on iOS - the gameplay in Flashout 3D is affected by your choice of tunes, so the music and graphics should work in perfect harmony.

Floating on air

Those of you with access to a 3D TV, meanwhile, will be able to plug their mobiles into their sets and enjoy the game's side-by-side 3D mode.

You can also expect accelerometer support and Apple TV integration (in the iOS version); upwards of 12 courses; a selection of sci-fi weaponry; and Game Centre compatibility (in the iOS version).

If all goes according to plan, iPhone, iPad, and Android users can look forward to taking Flashout 3D for a test drive sometime around May / June.

Check out the video below for a quick glimpse of the game in action.
