Monster Trucks Nitro
By RedLynx - download for iPhone

Monster Trucks Nitro is an obstacle-filled side-scrolling racing game in which you have to race (of course), jump, and boost your way through more than 16 unique tracks.

Each of these tracks is littered with buses, gas drums, and various other hazards - all of which will no doubt hinder your progress until you're familiar with each of the game's stages.

Naturally, there's a whole bunch of different trucks to unlock and jump behind the wheel of.

Azkend

By 10tons - download for iPhone

Azkend is a Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning match-three title that charges you with matching three or more similar items in order to return a strange and powerful relic to the Temple of Time.

Unlike most match-three games, though, you don't do this by moving tiles around the game's board. Instead, you simply trace your finger across closely situated tiles to make them disappear.

There are two different game modes to tackle, and a whole bunch of Game Center achievements to unlock.

Super KO Boxing 2
By Glu Games - download for iPad

Super KO Boxing 2 sees you grab a pair of gloves, jump into the ring, and beat the living daylights out of more than 15 colourful brawlers - each with its own personality.

There are three different game modes on offer: Circuit, which sees you embark on a quest to capture the Title Belt; Challenge, which presents 17 varied challenges; and Endurance, which is basically a Survival mode.

Super KO Boxing 2 punched its way to a Pocket Gamer Bronze Award when we reviewed it, so it's definitely worth checking out.
